The campsites here at Bar M Ranch are accessible, yet removed from the outside world. Our secluded sites present campers with the opportunity to feel one with nature—a simple, refreshing alternative to life in today’s busy, technology-laden society.

On clear nights, away from the campfire, the stargazing is unbelievable—without light pollution from the city, the night sky is a mesmerizing wonder. Most of the campsites are located on or near Honey Creek, a naturally flowing stream that empties into the Llano River. Guests are welcome to hike and explore the area while camping on the property; the terrain of the hill country ranges from fairly smooth to moderately rough. We offer daily or weekly rates—come on your own, or bring a group! Children are welcome. Each party is responsible for its own lodging equipment, food, and safety. No guides are present, which allows campers the leisure of their own private retreat (unless help is needed in an emergency).
